Welcome to Project Zone
Project Zone is our dedicated space for specialised workshops, targeted projects, and holiday club activities. Whether you are looking to master a new craft, engage in community-led initiatives, or find exciting things to do during the school holidays, Project Zone is the hub for focused creativity and skill-building.
From digital media and coding to life-skills workshops and social action projects, we provide a supportive environment where young people can dive deeper into their interests and make a real impact.
Events taken place each Wednesday and we run new Project Zones every six to ten weeks.
It’s not too late to join our current Project Zones.
We have some fantastic creative arts activities, which will culminate in a showcase or exhibition at our next Family Day (Saturday 22 August) but participation in the Family Day is not obligatory – we know it’s not something that everyone wants to do.
Do you have a Year 6 pupil who is finding the thought of moving to secondary school daunting? Then book them in our ‘ Step Up’ Year 6 transition project, which runs from 6 – 7.30pm on a Wednesday night to help them feel more prepared for the changes ahead.

Do I have to book for the full duration
Yes, due to offering a more tailored experience allowing young people to learn a new skill or improve an existing skill we require project zone sessions to be booked in a block.
Can my young person come for the whole evening?
No, each booking has its own time. Please only come in time for your booking and please pick up/leave at the end of your allotted time. This is due to the youth zones capacity and allowing as many young people as possible the opportunity to get involved with project zone.
How much does it cost?
Each project session is just 50p per visit (unless the project is funded, in which case it’s free!). We will always let you know at booking if there’s no charge.
Do I have to be a member?
Yes, we require all young people wanting to take part in sessions to be a member,
