Base71 welcomed Bill Holroyd CBE DL – Founder of OnSide Youth Zone this week.
Bill was instrumental in the development of the OnSide charity following his time as Chairman of Bolton Lads and Girls Club. Overwhelmed by the positive impact the club made on the lives of young people in the area, he felt that every town should have these amazing facilities.
Thanks to Bill’s vision, OnSide was born, and Base71 became the 17th Youth Zone in the expanding network.
